The hair's a different colour now but the haircut itself is almost as bad.

I didn't use this a great deal during 1982-83: After witnessing a couple of early defeats on the road I saw Spurs lose to Everton in the FA Cup at Goodison - our first loss in the competition for three seasons. Resolving that I was a jinx, I left away games alone until 1983-84 - again without much success.

84-85 was different however and I can't recall watching us lose. The season included wins at Norwich and Notts Forest but the most memorable game was the 1-0 victory over Liverpool at Anfield.

I can trace no membership cards from those years but does anybody still keep there's?
